FAQ
Q: I need an air purifier to get rid of the VOCs in my room/house.
A: Why are you concerned with VOCs in your house? Is it because of the painting smell or cleaning products or similar? In that case Airfree will not help, unfortunately.
Note: You should ask this question, because we found out that several customers relate VOCs to any odors, whether they are of chemical or biologic nature. If the smell is caused by something else than VOC (mold spores, mildew smell, remaining tobacco smell), then you can give Airfree as a solution.
Q: Will Airfree reduce any kind of odor?
A: Airfree has not been tested scientifically for odor reduction. However, we have several testimonials from customers who are happy with the unit´s efficiency on pet smell (except for urine), mold smell, remaining tobacco smell.
The reason for its efficiency is that the above mentioned odors are composed of proteins that are destroyed when exposed to Airfree´s ceramic core.
